High Quality, Modern Reproduction Print with optional Custom Framing
Turbot Map of paris, presented in its original 20 plates.
The Turgot Map of Paris, published in 1739, presents an extremely detailed bird’s-eye view of the city as it appeared in 1734-1736. It has been described as “the first all-comprising graphical inventory of the capital, down to the last orchard and tree, detailing every house and naming even the most modest cul-de-sac.”
Each print measures 20"x12", creating a large scale overall presentation reaching over 7' wide depending on the frame.
Printed on professional Epson paper with archival quality inks.
Because of the unique sizes of the original engravings, we offer frames that are custom cut and hand-made for your print. The wood frame with an oiled steel finish and rivet detailing was chosen to best compliment and display this map. Frame dimensions are 3/4" wide and 1" deep with an overall frame size of 21 1/2"x13 1/2" for each plate. Assuming a 1" space between each framed plate, the overall display is roughly 7'5" wide by 6' tall.
Shipping: $3 Shipping. For unframed prints, please allow 1 day for processing and 5-10 days for shipping. For custom framing, please allow 3-6 business days to frame your order and 1-5 business days for delivery (4-11 days total to get to your door).
