About Us & FAQs
History Print was founded to be a resource of meaningful and historic prints and photographs. We hope we can help you find something that resonates with you, whether it is your hometown, your favorite city, or simply something you love.
The items in your home should tell a story. And we are here to help. We have collected thousands of historic images, prints, and maps to help you in your search. If you are unable to find what you are looking for or have an idea for a project you would like to complete, just let us know.
What are your shipping rates?
Our standard black and white prints, 11x14 and smaller are shipped for free! For most other items, there is a flat shipping rate of $3.
For unframed prints, please allow 1 day for processing and 5-10 days for shipping.
All frames are custom made by hand to fit your piece, so any framed item will be shipped separately from standard prints in a secure, custom, shipping box. Please allow 3-6 business days to custom frame your order and 1-5 business days for delivery (4-11 days total to get to your door).
For delivery of prints outside of the US, please contact us for pricing and information. International delivery for framed pieces is unfortunately not available at this time.
How do I order a custom piece?
Easy….just contact us! Let us know what you are looking for or if we are able to help you decide. It can be as easy as requesting a different size print, or we can help you design an entirely new product. Large-scale metal Audubon print, perhaps? Whatever you choose, we will email you a custom order form for you to purchase just like a standard item. Please visit our Design Services page for more information.
How do you custom frame your pieces?
Frames are custom cut and hand-made by Framebridge, who ships them to you ready to hang. Framebridge's mouldings are made of solid wood with premium finishes, including acid-free materials and acrylic with UV protection. Each frame is inspected by their experts to ensure perfection before it is shipped out to you from their studios here in the United States. International shipping is not available at this time.
Where do you source your imagery?
Our imagery is sourced from a wide array of historic image collections, databases, books, and other sources. Our role is to help connect you to these images and provide you with a high-quality, custom print.
